Good Start = Good Year?

I hope so...

Struck 4D for the first time in my life. only got $6 of winnings.. i already used it up already!!!. it was not enough to cover the bets that i made.

Funny (in a weird and unexplainable way) story.

When asked, my nephew recalled the number from the numbers that my dog picked on CNY eve. However, the funny thing was that he wasn't present when the drew took place. So he gave 4 numbers.. don't know from where and then he said this, "It's not in the correct order.. i didn't remember correctly."

So i took the number down.. even though i knew that it wasn't the numbers that my dog picked and place bets on it. $2 worth and used ibet (24 permutations).

And well.. i struck.. consolation prize on the 1st day of the Lunar New Year.

i suspect that it might be due to the red underwear i wore. (ooppps.. you didn't need to know that). Then again.. i supposed lots of people was wearing red underwear. isn't it tradition and for a good start to the new year?

If that is not a good start.. then wat is?

:)

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.

I Hate the formatting!! Blah!
--------------------
The Poser Geek
You answered 49% of the questions as a geek truly would.
As a poser geek, you're trying too damned hard. There's a strong possibility that you think you're a geek because you own your own computer, however you're truly missing the bigger picture. You aspirations of being a geek mainly come from your friends, who are probably slightly cooler.

Get rid of those thick black-rimmed glasses. Being a geek isn't about style, it's about substance!

So what's this all mean? It means you're probably a pretty cool person. You've probably got social graces and are well liked by many people. While not a complete conformist, you do prefer to follow along with popular culture. True geeks probably laugh at you behind your back.

In a nutshell, you answered most question how you thought a geek WOULD answer, but your misconceptions deceived you. Truth is, 60% of people are geekier than you.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Nikon reels in film cameras to focus on digital

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) — Japanese camera and precision equipment maker Nikon said on Thursday it will focus on digital photography and stop producing most of its film cameras, except for a few professional photographer products.

Nikon is shifting away from film and will produces mostly digital cameras like the Coolpix S4.
By Yoshikazu Tsuno, AFP

"Nikon will discontinue production of all lenses for large format cameras and enlarging lenses. This also applies to most of our film camera bodies, interchangeable manual focus lenses and related accessories," it said in a statement on its British website. The company expects stock of analogue products to sell out in retail distribution in the summer of 2006.

Nikon is one of the two main camera brands for professional photographers and the company said it will continue to produce and sell the F6, its flagship film model, as well as a number of manual interchangeable lenses.

In addition, the manual FM10 model will continue to be available outside Europe.

Around 95% of Nikon's British sales are now generated by digital camera products and the firm has chosen to focus management resources on the fiercely competitive digital market.

"Demand for products that offer advanced features and extra value is continuing to grow," Nikon said.

Nikon is one of the few success stories left in the digital camera industry, generating relatively healthy profit margins while rivals such as Olympus Corp. and Fuji Photo Film continue to lose money on the business.

Quarterly operating profit at Nikon, the world's second-largest maker of digital single lens reflex cameras after Canon Inc., came to 14.4 billion yen ($126.3 million), up sharply from 5.0 billion yen a year earlier, while sales rose 6.6% to 185.5 billion yen
